Join us on April 30, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the West Hartford Town Auditorium, 50 S Main St, West Hartford, CT, to Celebrate Nepal: The History, Culture, Food, Dance, and Challenges!!!
Our program will feature support for Sasane, a non-governmental organization working with victims/survivors of human trafficking to China and India from Katmandu, Nepal, UNESCO programs, focusing on the restoration of cultural and historical sites in Nepal, and Lions Clubs outreach through medical programs. We will also talk about the history and culture of Nepal and the United Nations outreach to Nepal. We will have a free sampling of Nepalese cuisine with cookbooks and handicrafts created by survivors of human trafficking for purchase and Nepalese Dancers showcasing their Native dance.
