Wednesday, April 25 at 2:00 PM

The UN has human dignity at the heart of its programs. This has been solidified in the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, Today, we are in the midst of a humanitarian crisis, the most extensive one since World War II. Over 60 million refugees have been displaced from their homes, while millions of immigrants are still looking for a better life. How do we bring intelligence and heart to these challenges? In this lecture, Rev. John Carter, an Episcopalian priest working with undocumented families in Connecticut and Kara Hart, an attorney who has focused on the law to aid many who struggle with these issues, will be the keynote speakers.

Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
